Eczema is not one specific condition, but rather a collective term for a group of related skin disorders that cause symptoms like inflammation, redness, dryness and scaling. A diagnoses of eczema can be used to describe any type of dermatitis or “itchy rash.” Eczema is an itchy, red rash that can appear all over the body. It occurs among people who have very dry, sensitive skin. The skin can blister and crack in some cases. People with eczema are usually diagnosed with it when they are babies or young children.
Cannabis has been historically used to treat a lot of ailments including eczema. In eczema, most patients use marijuana by topical application. When applied topically, compounds in the herb bind to cell receptors in the skin’s immune cells. Applying MCDSA topical cannabis creams to the agitated area reduces the inflammatory response. This cuts down on the irritation and allows your skin to heal and return to normal. Cannabis cream cannot make you high.
