The skin is the body’s largest organ. It shields a person from harmful elements like UV radiation and provides a barrier between the internal human system and the external world. Although tough, it is not impenetrable. In fact, it is also an organ of excretion and absorption – which is why natural products are always preferable over those containing chemicals and toxins. One’s skin can be a reflection of overall health, hence, any change in colour, texture or appearance may signal trouble.
A “skin condition” or “disorder” describes anything from small red bumps to widespread rashes. Some conditions can be unsightly, but harmless, while others may be contagious. Many are also itchy or painful. Allergens, chemical or environmental irritants, infection, hereditary factors and stress are just a few of the forces that can trigger or exacerbate skin troubles.
Allergic reactions, such as redness and itching, occur when allergens (from certain foods, animal dander, wool or soaps, for example) trigger an immune system response. Viruses, fungi, bacteria or parasites can also cause issues to develop. Some skin problems have a genetic component. For example, eczema is more common in allergy-prone families and causes weeping, blister-like rashes.

Our clients have consistently chosen MCDSA-endorsed cannabis oil over conventional medicines that have let them down. We only advocate highly-concentrated medical-grade products, derived from marijuana plant flowers, which are far superior to over-the-counter, hemp-derived supplements.

Always speak to your doctor when considering cannabis as a treatment aid. Take great care to safely store products and not expose children or pets unintentionally.
THC products are psychoactive, causing one to become “high”. These are to be used with special caution in children, pets and persons prone to anxiety or stress. Depending on the unique situation, it may be appropriate to substitute THC with non-psychoactive THCA. CBN and 1:1 oils may also cause mild psychoactive effects.
However, if products are used correctly, it may be possible to avoid the psychoactive effect entirely. Should you feel uncomfortable or have any questions at any time, our trained team of staff are on standby to attend to your concerns.
